I was in The Closet for More Than Half of My Life

My name's Codi, my friends call me Codeye. I'm 31 years old, I'm from Central Ohio. I'm a graffiti artist and sponsored skateboarder on the side. But currently work at Wendy's lol. All my life I've always felt different, and I had an experience with a transgender gal when I was in school, and I think that's where it took off for me. I got into skinny jeans, but men's were not skinny enough so I wore girls', then I started experimenting dressing up and got into it hard core but was in the closet for more than half of my life. I just recently this year came out to all my friends and family that I'm bisexual and a crossdresser. I've hid this since I was in school, coming out to everyone was a truly great feeling, like a weight off of my shoulders. I can actually be myself now.

Sometimes I'm more comfortable in women's clothes, that, and I'm such a little dude most men's clothes fit me funny. I also went to my first Pride event this year. I was fully dressed up in drag outfit and that was awesome. The amount of love and support was outstanding, actually had people come up to me asking to get pictures together. The pride community is truly amazing. They are all so supportive of one another, it's hard to find that in a lot of things. But being able to be my true self is such a good feeling, hiding that side of me all them years really wasn't worth the pain I put myself through.

I did have a lot of my friends come to me and say coming out was a brave thing to do, got so many of them support me through this. I would like to say I really appreciate your company, bras and undies for men, glad that people like me who are more comfortable wearing women's clothes have an outlet and your stuff is gorgeous.
