Why is Crossdresser Not a Fair Name?

I have learnt that not every man wearing feminine clothes, shoes and lingerie is accepting to be called a cross dresser. As much as I don't think it is an insulting term in any way, I can see how our community is divided in this matter. Opinions matter!

   First I would like to apologize anybody who feels offended by having a word "crossdresser" in the product name of my men's lingerie. It is used strictly for search purposes, as it is easier for the search engine to pick up items relevant to the actual search. Also, many of you who don't accept the label, actually use this word in the search for cute, feminine bras and panties that will fit your body type without sacrificing the comfort of wearing.

   Our Community on Ig is very helpful for me to understand what you really is you are looking for and what makes the service a good experience. Thank you for that! By running random poles I learnt that only 13% of you is definitely bothered by the label "crossdresser" and 18% of you is bothered a little. Still, it is 31% of people not to be ignored! I understand that the reason behind is the need for the lingerie for men should be just normal. Some men just like nice and pretty things as much as women do and the label creates stigma placed by conservatives. Some of you get really offended by this name as clothes a man wears don't define the man at all. And some of you are just proud to be called "hot girly guys". The term crossdresser indeed puts all kind of men wearing lingerie in the same category.

   A while ago I had an interesting conversation about it with one of the followers. Based on the pictures of newly found dresses he likes to share with me, in no way I find him less masculine than a typical man. The love for feminine clothes has nothing to do with his other preferences and lifestyle in general. I understand how he does not like to be called a crossdresser. He brought up the fact, that women wear masculine clothes every day: baggy pants, boxer briefs, heavy shoes and they are not called crossdressers ever. It is not fair. "Girls do it and it's cute. Boys do it and we're crossdressers" - he said.

  Historically women were not allowed to wear pants, only skirts and dresses. It has changed, incredibly slowly, but it means there is hope for men too. Now there is more acceptance for women than men regarding fashion. If you look at it from a different angle: if a 20 years old wears what is typical for an 80 year old person, it should be called cross-dressing as well....
